Welcome!
Having graduated from the University of Bucharest with a degree in Business Administration, Alexandra's passion about fashion (world wide inspirations) and the ultimate aesthetic of luxury products was further developed during her Master in Brand Management and Advertising Communication at Milan's famed Istituto Europeo di Design.
As the tendencies of the contemporary world appear to go in two directions: one represents the “conformist notion of beauty” and the other one represents “the rebelliousness of beauty", both challenging the code of aesthetic, Alexandra's interest lies in the phenomena of image construction and the impact of technology on issues such as gender, identity, age, further investigated through her executive Master in Advance Studies in Inter-cultural Communication at the University of the Italian Swiss, Lugano Switzerland were she is also researching art and inter-cultural communication.
We are delighted that Alexandra will be sharing her expertise and her passion for fashion with the Green Pebbles Girls!

The appreciation of art is more often than not extremely subjective, it is rare that one painting will affect different people in the same way, however the Green Pebbles Girls were all convinced that despite not being art experts at all we all wanted to feature Priscilla Franco Asturia's work as a rather special gift idea for St. Valentines.
Amor Nacional 40" x 40"
BitterSweet Desire 60" x 72"
Illusion 48" x 48"
Priscilla became interested in art while she was a student in high school. She began experimenting in various media, with different tools and different techniques. After obtaining her B.S.B.A in Business Administration, she enrolled into Graphic Design at the New England School of Art and Design, in Boston. As she started doing private showing of her canvas on oil, demand for her work kept increasing and she quickly became an almost full time artist.
Priscilla describes painting as "the passionate action of response, a visual invocation of the subconscious. It is a moment-to-moment synthesis of experience and inward direction."
Now living in California many of her art pieces have been acquired by art collectors and friends from around the world.
