CLIPA - A FABULOUS WAY TO SAVE YOUR FAVORITE DESIGNER HANDBAG FROM GERMS, WATER AND DIRT!

You might have noticed that the Green Pebbles Girls have a real penchant for bags, rather expensive bags for that matter.  Well, along with the sheer pleasure of wearing said bags comes the unenviable position where you have to eventually put your highly coveted bag DOWN.

Lo and behold it's usually on some unsavoury floor in the toliets in the petrol station just off the motorway (unless of course you manage to position it ontop of the toilet roll holder in such a way that it won't fall - until the last minute that is, just when you think you've actually got away with it!!).  Or you might decide to pop the bag on one of the car seats where (and of course you'll only notice this when you pick the bag up again) one of the children has kindly left their carefully positioned sticky chewing gum ready for attack!  If you've been lucky to escape the chewing gum then the moment you brake your bag goes flying and if you have happened to have left it unzipped you'll spend the next 10 minutes desperately searching for your home keys under one of the car seats!

The Green Pebbles Girls have cried many desperate tears of despair and frustration because as many of you will know there is no way to get rid of wet stains, let alone chewing gum (placing one's designer handbag in the freezer in the hope of eventually removing the chewing gum as one would with a jumper is simply out of the question!).  We designer bag lovers were condemned to live in fear of our bags receiving the ultimate blow, stains and chewing gum!   Until last week that is!  Last week we discovered a fabulous new invention all the way in California USA.

CLIPA is the result of 2 years of design, development and prototyping followed by focus group testing, field work and machine testing - yes they are as serious about bags as the Green Pebbles Girls are!

The great thing about CLIPA is that unlike some bag hooks Clipa actually goes onto the bag!  No more searching for the bag hook at the bottom of the bag that you will only find once you get back and empty your bag!  It's there, on your bag just waiting for you to use it!  It comes in 18 finishes to match a selection of handbags (of course we chose the "Jenna" Clipa with Swarovski elements - there's a Marilyn in every Green Pebbles Girl afterall) and a whole range of prices - so you have no excuses when it comes to looking after your designer handbag as it should be!

LOVE & LIGHT!

House of Shakti Affirmation Bracelets

As more and more people turn to yoga in all its forms, meditation, natural healing etc in order to deal with the stress of modern pressures and life in general there is a budding collection of designers who relate to this and introduced this into their designs, brands etc.

Over the next few months we shall feature designers who have successfully applied 'love and light' to their work.

Today we feature designer Lubna Salah's House of Shakti.

All of the House of Shakti's jewellery from Affirmation Bracelets to Malas' for your mantras and their newest scarf necklaces is handcrafted in Beverly Hills California using only the highest quality semi-precious gemstones, gold and silver.

The House of Shakti bracelets are made to be worn together.  Whether you believe in the healing properties of gemstones or not, the chromatic effect is certainly delightful and extremely pleasing to the eye..... and quite possibly the soul!

The House of Shakti is the creative vision of designer and Kundalini Yoga instructor Lubna Salah who uses crystals for healing, empowerment and storytelling, after having experienced its benefits personally just over 4 years ago.

Her mission is to empower women to discover their highest potential through tools of practical enlightenment, like gemstones.
