"Maisha was conceived after an incredible trip to Bali, Indonesia where at a local retail store I was able to design my own handbag from local skins. My modesty in my creation was turned into outright amazement when on a trip to San Francisco I was approached by people on the street who wanted to know either where they could purchase my handbag or whether I would sell it to them outright there and then."
